I have recently found out that you must call to see if a place will give you a job. Apparently, all that information that you give them, including your phone number is just for show. They won't give a rat's ass about you unless you call them. I assume that this is just for an interview. But I have to call Price Chopper today, anyway to see if they've gotten back my background check and credit score. This makes me nervous. Whatever happened to them actually looking at an application and saying "yes" for an interview or "no?"

In other news, Jeff is quitting smoking. He hasn't smoked since Friday afternoon. I'm very impressed and wish him luck at work today.
